The Bible tells us what to think about-
Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."
We must continually take our thoughts captive so we don't leave room for the enemy to come in and plant his seeds in our mind-
2 Corinthians 10:5 "Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ"
We must become responsible for our thought life and choose to fix our thoughts on Jesus because he is the giver of life (Heb 3:1), on the Word of God because it is health (Prov 4:20-21, Pslam 1), on the attributes of God (Psalm 145:8-9), on the promises of God, on all the things He has already done for us, on His mighty works (Psalm 143:5), and on your destiny. Fix your thoughts on the needs of others with compassion, and on who you are in Christ (Jhn 15:5, Rom 5:11, 1 Corinth 12:27, Eph 1:5, Eph 2:18, Col 1:14, Col 2:10.)
To prepare yourself for healing you must focus on God not your symptoms.
